Student Nurses' Association
The Wayne State University Student Nurses' Association (SNA) is a student-led organization within the College of Nursing that strives to provide future nurses with the opportunity for personal and professional growth through the development of leadership skills and community involvement. Our goal is to enrich the lives and experiences of the students, faculty, and our unique community through volunteerism and opportunities that promote the nursing profession.

Why should I join the SNA?
The SNA is dedicated to providing opportunities to the student body that foster the personal growth of the individual and professional development. SNA represents the Wayne State College of Nursing in the community by organizing service activities. Being part of SNA is a fun way to connect with faculty, student body, and community.
Meetings and activities
The SNA conducts a joint meeting with the CNC the first Wednesday of every month at 11:00 am for one hour. Monthly activities provide opportunities for students to develop relationships with their classmates and community organizations.
Examples of past activities organized by SNA include a supply drive for the homeless, Soup Kitchen volunteering through the Detroit Rescue Mission, beginning of the year faculty/student ice cream social, American Red Cross Blood drive, fundraiser in the support of the Student Commons, annual Metro Detroit Heart and Stroke Walk, and more.
