The Wayne State University College of Nursing provides career support for students and recent graduates. We have resources and expertise to help students transition to or advance within their nursing careers as a registered nurse, nurse pratitioner or nurse scientist. The College of Nursing hosts an annual career fair each fall, inviting employers from throughout Michigan and the Midwest region.

As a part of the undergraduate Transition to Practice course, a career services unit will cover career-focused information as well as special programming including resume writing workshops, mock interviews and guest lectures by local hospital recruiters. Additionally, graduate students receive comprehensive career guidance and information throughout their courses.
