Office of Student Affairs
Welcome to the College of Nursing's Office of Student Affairs. We are a centralized resource for current and prospective College of Nursing students. Our office is responsible for student recruitment, admissions, academic progression, health requirements, clinical placement, Nurse Faculty Loan Program and graduation. We promote a supportive environment and encourage students to meet with their Academic Services Officer each semester to stay abreast of their academic progression.
Academic advising
We encourage students to meet with an Academic Services Officer during our office hours, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The office is located on the ground floor of the College of Nursing, room 10 Cohn Building, 5557 Cass Avenue, Detroit, MI 48202.

The Office of Student Affairs is here to ensure that your transition to Wayne State University is seamless. Our full-time Academic Services Officers are available to assist you with the application and admission process.

Admitted Students
Our Academic Services Officers help admitted nursing students with registration, accurate submission of clinical permits and academic advising. We believe it is important to inform and connect you with campus resources to support your academic journey through to graduation.

Admitted undergraduate nursing students can schedule an appointment online with an Academic Services Officer through STARS.
Admitted Graduate Students

Admitted Pre-nursing Undergraduates
Admitted pre-nursing students academic advising is provided through the University Advising Center, 1600 David Adamany Undergraduate Library, Detroit, MI 48202. Pre-Nursing students can schedule an appointment online through STARS.
