Bio Sketch

Dr. Zonp's research centers on the healing and trauma recovery of women affected by gender-based violence (GBV). As a MiStory international research consortium member, Dr. Zonp is dedicated to addressing and eliminating the sociocultural factors that perpetuate GBV and obstruct recovery. Utilizing a safe, trauma-informed, and multicultural feminist approach, she aims to empower participants and offer valuable cross-cultural insights into recovery engagement. Her work includes expanding theories on the cultural determinants of help-seeking and healing and implementing narrative therapy interventions on a global scale. Dr. Zonp's expertise encompasses quantitative, qualitative and mixed-method approaches, and she has contributed to the development and adaptation of measures in the healing and trauma recovery field.
