Bio Sketch
After earning her BSN from Madonna University on a softball scholarship, Dr. Sears began working as a registered nurse at Beaumont Hospital, initially in the neonatal intensive care unit before transferring to the pediatric intensive care unit. After earning her MSN in the pediatric nurse practitioner-acute care specialty from the Wayne State College of Nursing, she moved to C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor in the pediatric intensive care unit, where she continues to practice. Dr. Sears earned her DNP from the University of Michigan to pursue a career in teaching. She is focused on helping her students achieve their dreams and inspiring them to be the best versions of themselves.
