Bio Sketch

Dr. Farner (she/her) began her career in academia as the clinical faculty member dedicated to the U.S. military veterans BSN groups. She continues to work in this capacity, helping military veteran students advance through the accelerated BSN program, though she has expanded her teaching to include other lectures and labs in the undergraduate and graduate programs. Dr. Farner has a strong interest in advancing diversity, equity, inclusion and justice initiatives, as well as a background in community health and complementary therapies.
