Bio Sketch
I manage student engagement and build relationships with students and new alumni for the College of Nursing by planning and managing events, including the White Coat Ceremony and Convocation Ceremony. I support student activities as a liaison for the Student Nurses’ Association and the College of Nursing Council. Through events such as the Resume Builder Workshop, Mock Interview and an annual Career Fair, I assist students in preparing for their job search and securing employment. I work closely with the Office of Student Affairs to educate students about advanced educational opportunities through information meetings and events.
I am responsible for the coordination, managing and tracking of clinical placements for the College of Nursing. As the primary manager of ACEMAPP software, I manage all processes involving students, faculty, clinical rotations, rotation requirements and placements. I establish and maintain relationships with all area hospitals and community health care providers, and work internally with program directors and specialty coordinators.
