Bio Sketch

As a Wayne State University, College of Nursing C2 Pipeline Site Coordinator it is my responsibility to maintain a high quality after school learning environment as outlined in the 21st Community Learning Center Grant, Michigan Out-of-School Time Standards of Quality and the State of Michigan Department of Human Services Bureau of Children and Adult Licensing.

Prior to working as the Site Coordinator for WSU C2 Pipeline, I worked as a Head Start Educator for fourteen years serving at risk youth and families in Pontiac. My professional experience also includes nine years as an Enrichment Curriculum Specialist and Assistant Site Coordinator for PROJECT Synergy Works 21st CCLC (21st Century Community Learning Center) program in the Pontiac School District, serving grades K-8.

I'm looking forward to continuing to serve youth and families in the city of Waterford.

Education

I attended the University of Michigan Dearborn, focusing my education in Early Childhood Development.

My professional development also includes extensive High Scope Education Research Foundation training.
