A Message from the Interim Dean
The Wayne State University College of Nursing, part of one of Michigan’s three research universities, is recognized as an academic center of nursing excellence. The College prepares students to serve not only as highly-skilled nurses, but as leaders of health care systems and agencies, and as scientists and scholars who will develop new knowledge to enhance health care and nursing practice on a global scale.
The achievements of our alumni (many of whom conduct important scientific research or lead major educational and health organizations) and the successes of our students reflect our commitment to excellence. Our ability to sustain this high-quality education and research depends partly on you—our alumni and other friends. Your support helps the college provide advanced instructional technology and fund much-needed scholarships.
Please peruse our website to see the many ways you can make a gift to the College of Nursing and support our endeavors. To speak with our Director of Philanthropy, Lindsey Rossow-Rood, call (313) 577-6967.
Thank you for your interest and support for the College of Nursing.
