Program pathways

Applicants can enter the D.N.P. program as a post-B.S.N. student or as a student who has attained a Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) degree with a clinical specialty or as a student who has attained a M.S.N. without a clinical specialty. Post-BSN students will complete training in a clinical specialty as part of their D.N.P. degree, which will qualify them to sit for clinical specialty certification. Post-MSN students who do not currently have a clinical specialty will take classes as part of the D.N.P. that will qualify them to sit for clinical specialty certification.
